A Peaceful Mind Counseling Group is proud to announce the addition of Erika Leo, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) to their team of mental health professionals. With 25 years of nursing practice, Erika brings a wealth of experience to the clinic, having obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Buffalo in 1997, a Master’s in Family Nursing Practice from the University of Miami in 2015, and a Post-Master’s in Psychiatric Nursing from Liberty University.

Erika specializes in medication management for a wide range of mental health conditions, including ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, OCD, Bipolar, Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), Anger issues, sleep, and eating disorders for patients ages 12 and up. She utilizes a personalized approach to medication treatment, utilizing a patient’s history and interview, assessment tools, pharmacogenetic testing, and evidence-based guidelines.
