K-6, a versatile Singer is back with ‘Last Night’ the first video from EP lovers Affair
June 11, 2020 – K-6 whose upbeat “Give it to me” was a smashing hit, is back with “Last Night”, the first video from EP lovers affairs.
Born on May 23, 1986, in Sulayman Saul Sarr in Banjul the Gambia, the singer, a songwriter was introduced to the music in his teenage. Experiencing music with Senegal (Ebrima Sow known as DJ Doff) a distant relative, the singer started believing in the universal language of Music.
The beginning of his musical journey started when K-6 and DJ Doff recorded their first single together called Dayca Bi Nyor Kor Morm (we are the leaders of tomorrow) at the Bull Duff Studios coached by former pepper house crew which had become a sensation among people and received a rave response from the listeners in the Gambia. Taking this seriously, the duo formed a group, Keur Gui, with introducing new members Mansally Cham (West) and Isatou Jallow (Satu). The group created plenty of songs but fell apart later. But the music was still running into the heart of K-6 and he continued showcasing his talent till 2007.
Migration to the US, couldn’t depart him with music. After meeting the producer Lam Sem part-owner of S.E.M records and a DJ at 97.9 FM in Utah, the singer decided to go back to his organic love for music and recordings. He is a destined musician who loves to be versatile with all aspects of music.
The singer and songwriter K-6 finds solace with music and keen to deliver the same with his magical voice. His songs like “Carry Me Go” and “Robbery” has already been appreciated and received lots of accolades from the audience.
The versatile singer knows well how to keep engage and remain intact with his audience. Without making his music lovers wait longer, K-6 is coming up next month again with releasing 4 new songs from EP called SUGAR. All four songs SHOTS, SUGAR, UNUSUAL and YOU’RE AMAZING are going to offer an extraordinary auditory experience to the listeners.
